Penny and John's Holiday
The next day all the fog had gone when we visited the Golden Gate Bridge. The paint is "International Orange" and is a primer paint. When first applied the city fathers liked the colour so much they decided not to have a top coat!
We came across the sea-lions by accident, and Penny just spotted them across some fields as we drove along the highway. We had a half-mile walk to get to them, but it was worth the effort. They kept us amused for half an hour before the oncoming sunset prompted the continuation of our journey.
