Today's Thought

We drove back to Yosemite National Park from Bass Lake, then took the road to Glacier Point. At 7,274 feet above sea level, this vantage point is some 3,200 feet above Yosemite Valley below, giving superb views. Hee you can see the Half Dome on the left of the picture, with El Capitan and Bridal Veil Falls on the right.

Deep down in the valley below, the river winds through Yosemite Village area.

On our return we visited Mariposa Grove at Yosemite, where we saw again the giant Sequoia trees.

Then back to our lodgings at Bass Lake.
