at Marathon
This page shows the accommodation we had at Marathon. We only booked
the holiday two weeks before we started, and after trying many web
sites to find a suitable property, we managed to get this one, which
was available, unlike many others we tried. Obviously a booking
through the web is a bit of a risk, but we were delighted with every
aspect of this house. The location at Marathon proved to be a good
choice and the bungalow was situated in a quiet road, mid-town.
The facilities were excellent, with three good sized bedrooms, a
spacious lounge and kitchen, with a huge back porch, which was
another room, with hot-tub and Jacuzzi. The outside had bar-b-q plus
loungers and table and chairs. Privacy was good and the view of the
canal at the back was restful. You could moor your own boat on the
waterway. Overall we were very lucky and could not have got any
better, particularly at the very reasonable rates charged.
